Review Methodology — Casinoloots

Criteria

Each Casinoloots review is scored against the same four pillars: bonus value for a UK bankroll, cashier speed and fees in pounds, lobby depth and provider mix, and the quality of the responsible-gambling tooling. The pillars do not change between reviews so a reader can compare one year's write-up against the next without the goalposts moving.

Weights

Bonus value is weighted at twenty-five per cent of the score, cashier at twenty-five, lobby at twenty-five, responsible-gambling tooling at twenty-five. We deliberately keep the weights symmetrical because leaning on any one pillar hides problems in the others. Any sub-score below three out of five pulls a visible flag onto the final verdict regardless of the headline total.

Scoring

Every pillar is scored one through five by the editor who ran the test. Scores are averages across repeated attempts, not single sessions. A score of five requires a top-decile observation across the UK affiliate space and must be defendable with a specific example; a two or three is far more common than the industry mean and we are not shy of either.

Known limitations

A review is a snapshot. Software updates, licence changes and KYC provider swaps happen quickly and a page written on a Tuesday can be out of date by the following Monday. Dates are stamped at the top of each piece and we re-test the operator at least every six months.
